What you’ll do:

  • Monitor engine technical performance. Develop and Deliver improvement plans.
  • Manage the safety and compliance of the fleet, identifying key risks and issues & deliver effective mitigation plans.
  • Engage, Develop, and lead safety OEM, MRO, Internal customers, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead a small team of technical specialists, setting objectives and managing team performance, efficiency, and compliance with corporate & regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate manufacturer technical documents & industry data - implementing requirements, recommendation & developing industry best practises.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance plan for engines.
  • Contribute to support the business plan & annual finance plan development delivery.
  • Make effective business decisions combining complex business information, understanding the departmental context &recognising the broader implications to lowest lifetime cost-of-ownership & FP/BP targets.


What you’ll bring to British Airways:

  • HNC/HND plus relevant practical experience or:
  • Degree in an engineering subject
  • Experience in Aerospace design, manufacturing, or Aircraft maintenance environment.
  • CAA or company approvals in Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145 and/ or Part 21 CCE/CVE as appropriate
  • Demonstrable structured leadership training.
